Do you remember when we were really young and had the ability to day dream and imagine all day long? Oh, the vivid stories and adventures we could cook up in no time at all. We loved and laughed hard; always thinking of what we would do in the future...when we grew up. When we were older, we would possess the ability to make all of our dreams come true...right?!
But time passes and we get busy, then, where do the dreams and adventures go? Sometimes we forget how to dream or get discouraged when the real world creeps in and compromises our self-esteem. We start to ask questions; "Who am I? Do I matter?" "Does anyone see me?" " Does anyone care?"
We start "trying on" new persona's, thinking we can change ourselves to "fit in" better. We change our speech, change our style, change our hair, and sometimes we even change our beliefs. But who did we become? Where did our true identity go? We morph into so many things or people, we sometimes loose the authentic essence and uniqueness of ourselves.
In this new year, on this 18th day, what would you think about a fresh start? What would you think about slowing things down to see where you really are...who you really are? Observe what is real and what is not. Determine what you like and don't like about how you are living, feeling, and growing.
It's not too late to turn that "dream machine" back on and start the live "your truth." No compromises, no counterfeits, and no substitutions. Settle whatever you are not happy with and start anew!
Write a new vision for this year! Live your truth! Plan an adventure! DREAM!
